PRESS RELEASE – September 30, 2022
On September 26, 2022, the Fluvanna County High School Culinary students participated in competition at the State Fair of Virginia. Students participated in five areas earning four first place finishes and one third place finish.
First Place: Mason Trull, Quick Bread Muffin
First Place: Ill Cooper, Quick Break Scone
First Place: Logan Stutz, Quick Bread Cornbread
First Place: Parker Watson, Cookie
Third Place: Sydney Gibson, Cake Baking and Decorating
These students have completed the Serv Safe Food Handlers Certification and complete the Serv Safe Food Managers Certification as part of the program.
